ABOUT US:
   Old Faith Baptist is a mission work in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; We call ourselves "Old Faith" because our Faith and practice align strictly with the teaching of the New Testament.  We are a strict and particular as Baptist. By this we mean that we hold to the position of the Sovereign grace of God in the election and salvation of men; the perpetuity of the Lord's churches and the old doctrine and faith once delivered to the Saints. 
    We believe in marriage, the home and the raising of morally upright children.  We believe that the father is the spiritual leader in his home and has  the responsibility first, as king to graciously, kindly and with great love administer the affairs of his home as appointed by God. Second as prophet to teach, admonish and edify his wife and children in the Word of God. Third as priest to intercede for them in the affairs of this life and before the throne of heaven.
  We believe the proper role of the wife is to support and care for her husband and children according to the Biblical rule of faith.
    We believe that children brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord will produce morally upright adults. We do not believe such teaching will naturally produce "godly" individuals; for that is the work of God alone. 
    We believe the scriptures to teach that a church is independent of the world system and other church organizations.  Therefore we are not affiliated or members of any convention, association or denomination and our pastors are not members of any ministerial association.  The Church body is a spiritual body under the ministration of the word and Spirit of God with the Lord Jesus Christ as her head (in this ministration He has given gifted men to serve in His church, these being Elders and Pastor-Teachers).   This being so, it is our conviction not to bring this spiritual body into subjection of the State or Federal government by creating legal existence through incorporation.
